WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday: September 18, 2019

It’s time for another WWW Wednesday! I have successfully changed up my reading list(s) enough for another one of these posts to make sense, so let’s get to it! As always, WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words, and here are the rules:

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What I am currently reading:

The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi: I don’t know what the actual count is, but I’m almost positive the amount of Fantasy in my Young Adult collection comes in at amount 99%. And I’m slooooooowly trying to work through that–especially with what I received each month with Owlcrate. So, here we go!

The Lady Rogue by Jenn Bennett: I dropped the ball on this one. I got this one as an eARC from Netgalley ages ago, and I’m only getting to this now…two weeks after publication. *Hides face*

Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas: And finally on the Currently Reading stack, we have my audiobook. After taking a brief hiatus, I am back to the Wallflower series!

What I recently finished:

Kingsbane by Claire Legrand: More of my thoughts on this one can be found here, but mostly I just want to say that I am so happy I finally read this beast.

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab: Not my favorite V.E. Schwab book that I’ve read, but since I have only read two it’s not like that is a strike against this book. I still can’t wait to continue on.

What I think I’ll read next:

The Girl the Sea Gave Back by Adrienne Young: I really enjoyed Sky in the Deep, so I’m looking forward to seeing what this author presents next!

We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal: I’m putting this next formy Owlcrate Read endeavors. Hopefully this will make me stick with it.

Scandal in Spring by Lisa Kleypas: Oh noooo – my last Wallflower book! What will I do when this is done??? (Answer: Read the rest of Lisa Kleypas’s books)

And there we go! We’ll see if I stick to this list or not, but so far I’ve been doing fairly well. I’m quite proud of myself!
